DuxPond Communications Mobile Video Stream
Since 1997

The video is LIVE whenever I am storm chasing or on a trip.

About The Video Stream: I have several cameras available to stream; 2 Microsoft HD LifeCams, a Logitech Quickcam Orbit (PTZ) and my Netbook webcam. The video is recorded locally and streamed via Windows Media Encoder on my Asus Netbook. My Internet connection is Sprint CDMA network (average speed 1.2MB/sec). The stream from my vehicle is sent to and rebroadcasted from my streaming server at DuxPond.com. The server can handle about 30 simultaneous connections.

About The Tracker: The location is displayed from Google Latitude. I run an APP on my DroidX that tracks and stores my location. When my GPS signal is blocked or I am indoors the phone uses cellular triangulation for location and it may appear I am in the middle of the woods or ocean.
