WarningSum:...Air Quality Alert Is In Effect For Thursday September 2...
Warning Message:The New Jersey department of environmental protection has issued
a code Orange air quality alert Thursday for Atlantic and Cape
May counties.
A code Orange air quality alert means that air pollution
concentrations within the region may become unhealthy for
sensitive groups. Sensitive groups include children...people
suffering from asthma... heart disease or other lung
diseases...and the elderly. The effects of air pollution can
be minimized by avoiding strenuous activity or exercise outdoors.

Also...the chance for tropical storm conditions at this time is 55
percent. This represents a general steady trend since the last
forecast.

as Hurricane Earl approaches...sustained tropical storm force
winds are expected to begin Friday morning and last into Friday.
